R.E.A.D. Family Stories playgroup facilitator

Adults ages 22+ who:

• are confident and comfortable reading books aloud and singing songs with mobile children and leading a follow-up enrichment activity

• are comfortable interacting with children ages birth to five-years-old

• can engage family members to participate

• are dependable and punctual

 

Required:                       criminal background check, passion for children’s books

Preferred:                      education background in teaching or child development, experience reading aloud to children, Spanish speaking

Time Commitment:         can commit to 3-4 hours a month (includes prep time and travel time)

Position status:               Open
