Foundations
National Home Library Foundation (Spring 2019) granted R.E.A.D. $3,000 for 850 new, quality, culturally relevant books for economically vulnerable children ages 0 to 5 years enrolled in R.E.A.D. My Stories.
(Spring 2019) chose R.E.A.D. to receive a $50,000 national project grant from USA TODAY NETWORK’s A Community Thrives initiative! A Community Thrives, which is part of the Gannett Foundation, supports non-profit organizations like ours with projects focused on community building. This grant will go to support to the purchasing and outfitting a Book Bus so that all families everyone can "shop" for new, quality, culturally diverse and inclusive children's books.
